The 2014–15 Michigan State Spartans represented Michigan State University in the 2014–15 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Spartans, led by 20th year head coach Tom Izzo, played their home games at the Breslin Center and were members of the Big Ten Conference.
The Spartans finished the season with an overall record of 27–12, with a record of 12–6 in the Big Ten regular season for a tie for a third-place finish. After struggling for most of the season, spending 12 weeks unranked, the Spartans got hot in the Big Ten Tournament and challenged Wisconsin for the tournament title, eventually losing the Big Ten Tournament Championship in overtime. The Spartans kept their winning ways in the NCAA Tournament after receiving a number 7 seed in the East Region. They reached their seventh Final Four since 1999. The Spartans fell to the eventual National Champions for the second straight season, losing to Duke in the National Semifinal.

The Spartans finished the season with an overall record of 29–9, with a record of 12–6 in the Big Ten regular season for a tie for a second-place finish. Michigan State started the preseason ranked #2 overall and after beating #1 Kentucky in their second game went on to hold the #1 spot for 3 weeks. Despite struggling with injuries to multiple players throughout the season, the Spartans were ranked every week. The Spartans, finally healthy and at full strength, won 3 consecutive games to capture the 2014 Big Ten Tournament Championship. Michigan State earned a 4 seed in the NCAA Tournament's East Region and advanced to the Elite Eight for the ninth time since 1999. They lost to eventual National Champion, Connecticut, in the East Region Final.
